Does MSDE Plus require any third-party controls to work apart from those mentioned in the system requirements?

No. MSDE Plus is a 100% stand-alone executable file and does not require any third-party ActiveX controls, COM objects or run-time libraries.
Can MSDE Plus work simultaneously with different versions of MSDE/MS SQL Server or is a separate executable file provided for each version of MSDE/MS SQL Server?

MSDE Plus works with different versions of MSDE/MS SQL Server at the same time. Unlike some of the other similar applications, no separate executable file is required for each version of MSDE/MS SQL Server. You can work with different instances and versions of MSDE/MS SQL Server using MSDE Plus.

Can I distribute MSDE Plus with my application?

According to the license agreement the shareware version of the application is freely distributable if the original package is not modified. This means that the shareware version can be distributed with any application. However, registered users can not distribute a registered version of the application if they do not have an unlimited license.
